How's it going nerds. To tie in with my fellow contributor's post about Obama and Romney's policies, I thought I'd provide some of their thoughts regarding some issues that hit me hard personally, and that is how they view certain questions our government is faced with that have to do with science. I'll provide the link to the article, but to put it concisely for you guys; Obama plans on pulling money out of nowhere so that he doesn't lose supporters for outright saying 'In order to fund these advancements with government money my administration will have to tax the people.' Whereas Romney is at least willing to say he will have to raise taxes, but at the same time neither of them seems to have a clear plan or message regarding these issues. Their responses all ring of political babble and attempting to gain as many followers from as many demographics as possible (which should come as a surprise to no one). All in all, those of us that are looking to technological advances being the future of this country, don't hold your breath with these two candidates. Will we ever have a president who pushes space exploration and alternative energy sources? I don't think so, but I'd love to hear the opinions you guys have.
