Obama vs. Romney

What's up nerds, Myles here for some quick politics.  Today I'm just gonna shoot out a few things about the 2012 election candidates Barrack Obama and Mitt Romney.  Now, I've heard a few interesting statements about both that I just want to open this up with:  "Romney is almost making us vote for Obama"  "Do you really want a rich snob running the country to lower his taxes while increasing everyone else's?"  "Obama demonstrated how well he can handle the economy in his last four years in office, do you really want to see what he can do with another four years?" "The Obamacare policy sounds good on paper, but in practice it would just crash terribly."
Now that that's been said let me just say a few words of my own.  Personally I think they both have some pretty big flaws in their attempts to gain your vote.  Let's start with Obamacare.  As stated above, it sounds pretty damn good on paper but once you start it then what happens?  Canada has a health care system similar to it and look at what happens to them, if they need surgery they have to wait or they can come to America and hope for the best.  Also, it would slowly decay the jobs of healthcare workers.  Now onto Romney.  I found his statement addressing that "47% of Americans pay no income tax and take no personal responsibility for their lives" to be incredibly ignorant.  I'm sure that it wasn't completely thought through which then leaves huge gaps in the argument. There are certain groups that just cannot pay income taxes (including the disabled, military, the teen making minimum wage at McDonalds, and the working families that impoverished).  Also, once you take a closer look at his policies you really do see that it would in fact lower the taxes of the rich, (like himself), now doesn't that seem a little unethical for a president?
Well, I'll leave this open to you fine users of the internet now.  American or not, we'd love to hear your opinions on the topic.

Also, I'm sorry for the huge hiatus I took from this blog.  I've just been really busy lately but I'm going to start trying to get in a post about something going on in the world.  Much love to all the nerds who help support this blog though, means a lot to me!
