New question:  Is there a purose to us as humans?

  1. Ok, so, as the qutestion asks. "Is there a purpose to humanity?" The question is answered through the understanding of what so many people could not answer, "The meaning of life." Now, if you take a moment to think about it, we are no different than any other species on this earth. All species thrive for the same reason. Everyone knows the answer, but no one says it. The answer itself, as easy as it is, eluded throughout history.

Species evolve, that is what we do. From the beginning, many species have evolved to adapt their surrounding and "SURVIVE". Not only does a species live to survive, but in order to make sure that survival is long lived, a species must also, reproduce, in order to conceive offsprings to continue the survival, adaption, and evolution. Us as humanity, being as sophisticated as we are, do not always understand the simplicity of the world. We are known as viral, we are known as the destroyers, the plague, and/or even the infested. But what we are, can be summed as "WINNING"

The purpose of humanity is the same as any other species. We live to survive through reproduction of ones species. Only the Strong survives. The weak, does not adapt. The weak, does not. The world is the grounds for a battle that has been raged for a very long time. In the end, only one species shall be. The weak, will die. The strong will not. Remember this, when you fight another human being. We are all the same, we all have the same purpose, we must unite, not fight. We must prevail, and control the fates of the world. This is my idea, of our purpose.

I also believe that we has a purpose in better the world, just like any other species contributes. Our contribution, however, is not always positive.

  2. I couldn't agree anymore, the answer to what is commonly called an unanswerable question is simple. The simplicity in this is what makes it so baffling though. how is it that something so deep and complicated is answered with something everybody knows.

Regarding what you said about the strong survive and the weak die, reminds me of Social Darwinism and then the conflict in this purpose is applied. What we shun as a society is often subliminally administrated to our minds which then raises the question, how can we survive if we are the source of hypocrisy and only disagree with each other and call for war?

  3. Our purpose in life is to be happy. Others might say to know God (however defined).

I'm not impressed by materialism. It's a dead philosophy.
